Cross-country skiing

Cross-country skiing is becoming more and more popular. And rightly so! Because the Nordic sport combines healthy exercise for the whole body with fantastic nature experiences. The Pitztal Valley has a wide range of offers for cross-country skiers. A unique feature is that cross-country skiing is possible here at three different altitudes. At the bottom of the valley, there ist the beautiful valley cross-country ski track, at Rifflsee with its impressive mountain scenery runs a cross-country track at an altitude of 2,280 meters above sea level and the glacier cross-country ski track in the Pitztal glacier is at 2,740 meters. This guarantees snow and cross-country skiing from November to mid-May.
