Common Good Economy

Common good economy is an economic system that takes into account the environment and the good of others when doing business. Not profit maximization but eco-social fairness and ecology are in the focus.

We do not only audit our own actions on a regular basis but as well those of our partners, suppliers and service providers in terms of eco-social aspects. That helps us to get an impression of our ecological footprint. We are on a good way, but we should improve. Our big advantage is the supply of food which is 100% organic and as best it can be regional. Reducing plastics, using eco-friendly cleaning agents, recycling paper and a responsible use of energy and water are just some of the points we keep an eye on.

We meet up every year with our partners and give insights in our carbon dioxide statistics. We take action in protecting the climate by investing in reforestation projects and eco-friendly small water power stations which are worldwide initiated by ecologists.
