The Glaser mill in Stillebach is the last of the formerly 25 mills in the municipality of St. Leonhard in Pitztal. It was saved from decay with a lot of heart, diligence and financial effort and rebuilt in Stillebach, in the direct vicinity of the Biohotel.
The mill with technology from 1857 is fully functional again. The imposing mill wheel is driven by the water of the village stream. The mill is equipped with a bread oven and a fermentation room.
In the mill the old handicraft is saved from oblivion. There are exhibitions about the old crafts in the valley, readings, lectures and events. And, of course, grain is ground and bread is baked in the wood-burning oven. A small gastronomy completes the offer.
We look forward to your visit in Stillebach!
